Quarantine
Locked inside, settling into a new life indoors, when an announcement comes in to leave home immediately and reach the designated quarantine zone in your city. The streets are crawling with the infected... Will you make it?
My Involvement
Quarantine was the first 3D game I developed within Unity. During the 6 month period, I created a vertical and high-fidelity version of the game to focus on the core aspect of the assessment which was programming and functionality. I created this game during my second year at Brunel University. I created over 30 C# scripts for this project and made sure the story and level design were smooth-flowing and coherent. This was a solo project.

Level Design

The diagram on the left is the initial level design for the game, where the player has to escape their home and reach the quarantine zone before nightfall. The player will interact with two NPC's who need help along the way. If the player decides to help them they will be rewarded with loot and shortcuts to the quarantine zone. If the player does not help the first NPC the only way they can cross the river is by swimming in it, increasing their contamination level to 50% and lowering their overall health to 50% for the rest of the game.
The diagram on the right is the greybox of the map, with indications to where the main points of the level are.
